Cheese

- 1/2 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/3 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Garnish
- Fresh basil, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat thoroughly, ensuring a crisp crust when baking.
- Prepare the dough: Roll or stretch the pizza dough into your desired shape—a round or rectangular form—on a lightly floured surface to prevent sticking.
- Transfer dough: Move the shaped dough to parchment paper or lightly oil a pizza pan to prevent the base from sticking during baking.
- Add sauce: Evenly spread the pizza or marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for crust formation.
- Layer cheese: Sprinkle the vegan mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce layer, distributing it for balanced melting.
- Arrange vegetables: Place the sliced red and yellow bell peppers, red onion, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and black olives evenly on top of the cheese.
- Season and drizzle: Drizzle olive oil over the toppings and sprinkle with dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to enhance flavor.
- Bake the pizza: Transfer the pizza onto the preheated stone or baking sheet and bake for 12 to 16 minutes, until the crust is golden and the vegan cheese has melted.
- Finish with basil: Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately top with fresh basil leaves for a fragrant finish.
- Serve: Let the pizza rest for 2–3 minutes, then slice and serve warm for best taste and texture.
Notes
- Use a high-temperature oven for a crispier crust.
- Add spinach, artichokes, zucchini, or roasted garlic for extra vegetables.
- For a spicy version, add red pepper flakes or sliced jalapeños.
- Let the pizza rest for 2–3 minutes before slicing to allow the toppings to set.
