Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) to ensure it’s ready for baking the stuffed chicken breasts.
- Create Chicken Pockets: Carefully cut a pocket into each chicken breast, making sure not to slice all the way through to hold the filling securely.
- Prepare Filling: In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and minced garlic until well combined to form a creamy, flavorful filling.
- Stuff Chicken: Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each chicken breast pocket evenly.
- Season Chicken: Season the outside of the stuffed chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and paprika for added flavor and color.
- Arrange in Baking Dish: Grease a baking dish with butter or oil, and place the stuffed chicken breasts inside, spaced evenly.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is golden, cooked through, and reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
- Rest: Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing to retain juices and enhance texture.
Notes
- Add fresh herbs such as parsley or thyme into the filling to elevate flavor.
- Always check that the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 75°C (165°F) for food safety.
- Let the chicken rest after baking to ensure juiciness and easier slicing.
