Description

Nutella Deviled Strawberries are an elegant, no-bake dessert featuring fresh strawberries filled with a creamy blend of Nutella and cream cheese. Topped with chocolate shavings or chopped hazelnuts, these bite-sized treats are perfect for parties, Valentine’s Day, or any special occasion looking for a sweet, simple, and impressive dish.

Ingredients

Strawberries

  • 24 large strawberries

Filling

  • ½ cup Nutella
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Garnish

  • Chocolate shavings or chopped hazelnuts, for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Strawberries: Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly. Then slice each strawberry in half lengthwise and trim a small piece from the bottom if necessary so they can stand upright on a flat surface.
  2. Hollow Out Centers: Use a small spoon or melon baller to carefully hollow out a small portion from the center of each strawberry half to create space for the filling.
  3. Make Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat together the Nutella, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Fill Strawberries: Transfer the Nutella mixture to a piping bag fitted with a star tip and pipe the filling into each hollowed strawberry half, filling them generously but neatly.
  5. Garnish: Decorate each filled strawberry with chocolate shavings, chopped hazelnuts, or fresh mint leaves as desired for added flavor and visual appeal.
  6. Chill and Serve: Place the filled strawberries in the refrigerator and chill for 20 minutes to allow the filling to firm slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use mascarpone cheese instead of cream cheese for a richer and creamier filling.
  • Assemble the strawberries shortly before serving to maintain the freshest flavor and texture.
  • Store any leftovers refrigerated and consume within 24 hours for best quality.
