Instructions

- Top with cherry pie filling: Spoon half of the cherry pie filling evenly over the pudding layer, distributing cherries and sauce uniformly.
- Repeat layering: Repeat the layering steps by adding the remaining cake cubes, pudding mixture, and cherry pie filling in the same order, finishing with the last layer of cherry pie filling.
- Add whipped topping: Spread the thawed whipped topping evenly over the top layer of cherry pie filling to create a smooth, creamy finish.
- Chill: Refrigerate the assembled cake for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow flavors to meld and the dessert to set properly.
