Vegetables
- 1 small cabbage, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Other Ingredients
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the oil: In a large pan over medium heat, warm the 2 tablespoons of oil until shimmering, preparing the base for sautéing the aromatics.
- Sauté onion and garlic: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pan and cook, stirring frequently, until they become soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
- Cook the ground beef: Add the ground beef to the pan, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, and cook until browned evenly with no pink remaining, about 7-8 minutes.
- Incorporate cabbage: Stir in the chopped cabbage and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and slightly wilted, approximately 8–10 minutes.
- Season the dish: Sprinkle the paprika, salt, and pepper over the mixture, then add the soy sauce if desired. Mix thoroughly to combine all flavors evenly.
- Serve hot: Once well mixed and heated through, remove from heat and serve the dish warm for the best taste and texture.
