- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking the casserole later.
- Cook Tortellini: Boil the cheese tortellini according to the package directions until al dente, then drain well to remove excess water.
- Prepare Sauce: In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned.
- Add Cream and Cheese: Stir in the heavy cream and crumbled Gorgonzola cheese, cooking and stirring continuously until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Combine Tortellini and Sauce: Mix the cooked tortellini thoroughly with the Gorgonzola cream sauce to coat the pasta evenly.
- Assemble Casserole: Transfer the tortellini and sauce mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
