Description
Juicy, tender steak bites seared to perfection and coated in a rich garlic butter sauce. This quick and easy recipe is perfect for weeknight dinners, appetizers, or protein-packed snacks.
Ingredients
Steak Bites
- 1½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Garlic Butter Sauce
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the steak bites: Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels and season evenly with salt, black pepper, and paprika to enhance flavor and help form a good crust.
- Heat the skillet: Place a large skillet over high heat and add olive oil, allowing it to get hot but not smoking to prepare for searing.
- Sear the steak bites: Add the steak cubes in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding the pan, and sear for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned and caramelized on the outside.
- Add butter and garlic: Reduce heat to medium, then add the unsalted butter to the skillet. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not burnt.
- Toss in garlic butter sauce: Mix the seared steak bites thoroughly with the garlic butter, ensuring each piece is well coated and infused with rich flavor.
- Garnish and serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the steak bites, and serve immediately for best taste and texture.
Notes
- Avoid overcrowding the pan to achieve the best sear and prevent steaming the steak bites.
- Ribeye or New York strip steak can be substituted for sirloin for a richer flavor.
- These steak bites pair well with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
