Ingredients

- 200 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 200 g mixed seafood (mussels, squid, or scallops)
Sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken or seafood broth
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the base: Melt butter in a pan over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes, making sure it doesn’t brown to avoid bitterness.
- Cook the seafood: Add the shrimp and mixed seafood to the pan. Cook briefly, stirring occasionally, until the seafood starts to turn opaque but is not fully cooked, approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Add liquids: Pour in the heavy cream and chicken or seafood broth. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Season and thicken: Stir in grated parmesan cheese, paprika, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the seafood is fully cooked through and the sauce thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes.
- Finish and serve: Remove from heat. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot over pasta, rice, or your preferred base for a complete meal.
