Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) to ensure it reaches the perfect temperature for baking the stuffed mushrooms.
- Prepare Mushrooms: Clean the mushrooms thoroughly and carefully remove the stems, creating a cavity for the crab filling.
- Mix Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked crab meat, softened cream cheese, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well blended.
- Stuff Mushrooms: Spoon the crab mixture into each mushroom cap, filling them generously but neatly.
- Arrange and Drizzle: Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking tray and drizzle olive oil evenly over them for added moisture and flavor.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 18–20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and serve warm, optionally adding a squeeze of lemon juice to enhance flavor.
Notes
- Use fresh crab for the best flavor and texture.
- Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice just before serving to brighten the flavors.
- For a crispier top, you can broil for an additional 1-2 minutes at the end, watching carefully.
