- 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
- Sprinkles for topping
Instructions
- Warm the Milk: In a medium saucepan, gently warm 2 cups of milk over medium heat until it’s hot but not boiling, to prevent scorching and ensure a smooth base.
- Melt the White Chocolate: Add 1 cup of white chocolate chips to the warm milk and stir continuously until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is silky and smooth.
- Add Vanilla and Sugar: Stir in 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and, if desired, 1 tablespoon of sugar to enhance sweetness. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Serve: Pour the hot white chocolate evenly into mugs.
- Top with Sprinkles: Generously sprinkle colorful sprinkles on top for a festive and fun finishing touch. Optionally, add whipped cream before sprinkles for an extra indulgent treat.
Notes
- For an extra creamy texture and festive appearance, add whipped cream before topping with sprinkles.
- Using almond bark instead of white chocolate chips can impart a stronger vanilla flavor to the drink.
- Adjust sugar according to your desired sweetness level.
- Heat milk gently to avoid burning and to maintain a smooth texture.
- Sprinkles can be substituted with crushed peppermint or cocoa powder for different twists.
