Soft sliders packed with turkey, melting Swiss, and Dijon—finished with a buttery glaze and served with berry preserves. A perfect mix of savory and sweet!
Ingredients
1 package (12 count) Hawaiian rolls
12 slices deli turkey
6 slices Baby Swiss cheese
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (adjust to taste)
1 large egg
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
Optional: powdered sugar for topping
Optional: strawberry or blackberry preserves for serving
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray an 11‑inch rectangular baking dish with nonstick spray.
-
Slice the roll pack in half horizontally with a serrated knife, keeping rolls connected as top and bottom slabs.
-
Spread Dijon mustard on both slabs.
-
On the bottom slab, layer half the cheese, then turkey, then the remaining cheese, and top with the upper slab.
-
Whisk together melted butter and egg; brush over the roll tops.
-
Cover loosely with foil (use toothpicks if needed), bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil; bake another 10 minutes until golden.
-
Let cool a few minutes, slice into sliders, sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired, and serve with berry preserves.
Notes
- Timing Tip: Use toothpicks to protect the top from sticking to foil.
- Make-Ahead: Prepare and refrigerate before baking—just bake when ready to eat.
- Flavor Balance: Don’t skip the preserves—they add a lovely sweet contrast.
