- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Pasta
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
Sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Cook the fettuccine according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside to keep warm.
- Season the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts evenly with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6–7 minutes per side until fully cooked through and golden brown on the outside. Remove from skillet and slice into strips.
- Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and add butter and minced garlic. Sauté the garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant, taking care not to burn it.
- Add Cream and Simmer: Pour in the heavy cream and allow it to simmer gently for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally to meld the flavors.
- Add Parmesan Cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese gradually until the sauce becomes smooth, creamy, and slightly thickened.
- Toss Pasta in Sauce: Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet and toss well to coat all noodles evenly with the creamy Alfredo sauce.
- Serve: Arrange the sliced chicken on top of the pasta and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.

- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese melts better and creates a smoother sauce than pre-shredded varieties.
