Ingredients
Quesadilla Base
- 2 flour tortillas
Filling
- 1 ripe peach, sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 tbsp honey
For Cooking
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Prepare the Tortillas: Spread the cream cheese evenly on one side of each flour tortilla to create a creamy base for the filling.
- Add Filling: Layer the thinly sliced peaches and shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese evenly over one of the cream cheese–covered tortillas.
- Drizzle Honey: Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey over the peach and cheese layers to add a touch of sweetness before closing the quesadilla with the second tortilla, cream cheese side down.
- Heat the Pan: Warm 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet or non-stick pan over medium heat until melted and sizzling.
- Cook Quesadilla: Place the assembled quesadilla in the pan and cook until the bottom tortilla turns golden brown and the cheese begins to melt, about 4-5 minutes. Carefully flip and cook the other side until also golden and the filling is warm and gooey, about another 4-5 minutes.
- Serve Warm: Remove the quesadilla from the pan, let it cool slightly, then slice into wedges and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.

- Add fresh basil leaves inside the quesadilla for a fragrant herbal note.
- Use brie cheese instead of mozzarella or cheddar for a richer, creamier flavor.
