Ingredients

Base Liquids

  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

Spices and Fruit

  • 46 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tbsp whole cloves
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • Optional: star anise, nutmeg (to taste)


Instructions

  1. Add Ingredients: Combine the apple cider, orange juice, lemon juice, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, sliced apple, sliced orange, and optional spices like star anise or nutmeg into the slow cooker.
  2. Cook: Set the slow cooker to the Low setting and let the mixture simmer for 3 to 4 hours, allowing the flavors to meld and the drink to warm thoroughly.
  3. Strain: If desired, remove and strain out the whole cloves and cinnamon sticks for a smoother drinking experience.
