Instructions
- Combine ingredients: Add the apple cider, cranberry juice, sliced orange, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and star anise (if using) into the slow cooker.
- Cook the cider: Set the slow cooker to Low and cook for 3 to 4 hours, allowing the flavors to meld and create a warm, aromatic drink.
- Strain and serve: Once cooked, strain the cider to remove the spices and orange slices if desired, then ladle into mugs and serve warm. Optionally, garnish with fresh cranberries.
