Instructions
- Prepare Glass: Drizzle chocolate syrup inside a martini glass and place it in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the cocktail or mocktail.
- Mix Cocktail Ingredients: For the alcoholic version, fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add vanilla vodka, chocolate liqueur, Irish cream liqueur, heavy cream or half-and-half, cocoa powder, and red food coloring. Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until the mixture is frothy.
- Mix Mocktail Ingredients: For the non-alcoholic version, add milk or half-and-half, chocolate syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, red food coloring, and ice to a shaker. Shake until smooth and slightly frothy.
- Strain and Serve: Strain the shaken mixture into the chilled, prepared martini glass to avoid ice chunks and maintain the smooth texture.
- Garnish: Add your choice of garnishes such as chocolate syrup drizzle, red velvet cake crumbs, chocolate shavings, or Valentine-themed sprinkles for an extra festive touch.
- Enjoy Immediately: Serve right away to enjoy the martini at its best texture and flavor.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of red food coloring to achieve a lighter or deeper red color according to your preference.
- Using chocolate milk instead of cream can result in a sweeter version of the drink.
- Chill the martini glasses before serving for the best presentation and temperature.
- Serve immediately after preparation for the smoothest texture and freshest taste.
