Description

This Potsticker Sauce is the perfect dipping sauce for all your favorite Asian appetizers. With a delightful balance of salty, tangy, and sweet flavors, it’s ideal for potstickers, egg rolls, gyoza, and more. Ready in just 5 minutes, this homemade sauce is quick, simple, and incredibly flavorful!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar (or Chinese vinegar)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (or honey to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, sliced
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sugar. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved and all ingredients are well incorporated.

Stir in the sliced green onions and garnish with crushed red pepper flakes and sesame seeds, if desired.

Whisk again before serving and enjoy as a dipping sauce for potstickers, egg rolls, gyoza, or wontons.

Notes

Sweet Version: Increase the amount of sugar or honey for a sweeter dipping sauce.

Spicy Version: Add more crushed red pepper flakes or a dash of sriracha for extra heat.

Herb Version: Try adding finely chopped cilantro or mint for a fresh twist.
