- Heat the milk: Pour 2 cups of milk into a saucepan and warm it over medium heat until it’s hot but not boiling.
- Melt the Nutella: Whisk in 2 to 3 tablespoons of Nutella into the warm milk until it is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Add cocoa and sugar: Stir in 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and 1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar, adjusting the sweetness and richness to taste, if desired.
- Finish with vanilla: Mix in 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract to enhance the flavor, then serve the hot cocoa immediately while warm.
