Description

A rich and ultra-creamy hot chocolate made with Nutella, offering a smooth chocolate-hazelnut flavor that’s perfect for cozying up on chilly days.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 23 tbsp Nutella
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder (optional for richness)
  • 12 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Heat the milk: Pour 2 cups of milk into a saucepan and warm it over medium heat until it’s hot but not boiling.
  2. Melt the Nutella: Whisk in 2 to 3 tablespoons of Nutella into the warm milk until it is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Add cocoa and sugar: Stir in 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and 1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar, adjusting the sweetness and richness to taste, if desired.
  4. Finish with vanilla: Mix in 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract to enhance the flavor, then serve the hot cocoa immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Add a shot of espresso to turn this into a Nutella mocha.
  • Top with whipped cream or shaved chocolate for an indulgent finish.
