Description

Make these Mint Oreo Truffles for a sweet and creamy treat! With a crunchy pretzel crust, a creamy filling, and rich chocolate coating, these truffles are perfect for parties, holidays, or whenever you want an indulgent, no-bake dessert. Simple, flavorful, and fun to make!

Ingredients

For the Truffles:

1 package Mint Oreo cookies

8 oz cream cheese, softened

12 oz white or dark chocolate, melted (for coating)

Green food coloring (optional)

Sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or chocolate drizzle for decoration

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos:
Using a food processor or a sealed bag and a rolling pin, crush the Mint Oreos into fine crumbs.

  2. Mix with Cream Cheese:
In a large bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese. Use a hand mixer or spatula to combine until smooth.

  3. Shape the Truffles:
Roll the Oreo-cream cheese mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  4. Chill the Truffles:
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or freeze for 15 minutes to firm up the truffles.

  5. Melt the Chocolate:
Melt your chocolate in 30-second intervals in the microwave, stirring in between. Add green food coloring to white chocolate for a festive look.

  6. Coat the Truffles:
Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring an even coating. Use a fork to lift the truffles and let excess chocolate drip off.

  7. Decorate:
Before the chocolate sets, decorate with crushed Oreos, sprinkles, or a drizzle of extra chocolate.

  8. Chill Again:
Refrigerate the truffles again for 15-20 minutes until the chocolate hardens.

  9. Serve and Enjoy:
Once the chocolate has set, enjoy your Mint Oreo Truffles! Serve chilled

  • Chocolate Coating: Use dark, milk, or white chocolate to coat the truffles for different flavors.
  • Mint Chocolate: For extra minty flavor, use mint chocolate for the coating.
  • Add-ins: Add crushed peppermint candies, mini marshmallows, or nuts for added texture.
