Description

This sparkling, refreshing mocktail combines floral lavender syrup, tart lime juice, and fresh mint over ice for a sophisticated non-alcoholic drink perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

For Homemade Lavender Syrup:

½ cup water

½ cup sugar

1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender

Or use:

½ cup Torani lavender syrup

For the Mocktail:

½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 45 limes)

½ cup lavender syrup

3 cups sparkling water or club soda

1 cup fresh mint leaves

Ice cubes

Optional Garnishes:

Fresh mint sprigs

Lime wedges

Edible flowers


Instructions

  1. If making syrup) Simmer water, sugar, and lavender until sugar dissolves. Steep 5 minutes. Strain and cool.

  2. In a pitcher, muddle mint gently. Add lime juice and lavender syrup.

  3. Fill with ice. Add sparkling water just before serving.

  4. Stir gently and serve in glasses with ice and garnishes
