These gingersnap pecans are sweet, spiced, and coated in a crunchy gingerbread-inspired glaze. Made with molasses, brown sugar, and warm spices, they’re the perfect snack for the holidays or anytime you crave something cozy and sweet.

Ingredients

2 lbs pecans (46 cups)

2 teaspoons molasses

2 cups light brown sugar

2 teaspoons ground ginger

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper

1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°F. Line baking sheets with silicone mats or greased foil.

  2. In a large bowl, combine molasses, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, white pepper, and water. Stir until well mixed.

  3. Add pecans and toss to fully coat.

  4. Spread pecans in a single layer on prepared pans.

  5. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.

  6. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
