- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp dried thyme or parsley

Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness to ensure uniform cooking.
- Mix Coating: In a bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat Chicken: Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then thoroughly coat with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
- Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken breasts for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Make Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, then add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Simmer Broth: Pour in chicken broth and allow it to simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Add Cream and Cheese: Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cooking 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Season Sauce: Add salt, black pepper, and dried thyme or parsley to enhance flavor.
- Combine & Serve: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic sauce over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best crispiness on the chicken.
- For a lighter approach, chicken can be baked at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes instead of pan-frying.
- This dish pairs well with pasta, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat gently to maintain sauce texture.
