Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the sliced pepperoncini peppers (with juice) and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add chicken broth and deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Combine and Serve: Return chicken to skillet and spoon sauce over the chicken. Let simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the chicken to absorb some sauce and become tender. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve with your favorite side dish such as pasta, rice, or roasted vegetables.
