Ingredients
Chicken:
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon black pepper (adjust to your preference)
Mac and Cheese:
- 8 oz elbow macaroni (or pasta of your choice)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season and Cook Chicken: Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in olive oil until browned and fully cooked. Slice into strips or cubes.
- Make Honey Pepper Glaze: In the skillet, combine honey and black pepper. Simmer to thicken. Toss cooked chicken in the glaze.
- Cook Pasta: Boil macaroni, drain, and set aside.
- Prepare Cheese Sauce: Melt butter, add garlic and onion powder, stir in cream, then melt cheddar and Parmesan for the sauce.
- Combine and Serve: Mix macaroni with cheese sauce, add chicken, and toss to combine. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
