Description

These crispy, bite-sized Crab Rangoon Bites are filled with a creamy crab mixture and wrapped in golden, flaky biscuit dough. Perfect for appetizers or game day, these treats are served with sweet chili sauce for the ultimate snack experience.


Ingredients

For the Crab Rangoon Filling:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup imitation crab meat, finely chopped

2 green onions, thinly sliced

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Dough:

1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Cooking spray or oil (for baking or air frying)

Optional for Garnish:

Sweet chili sauce (for dipping)

Additional sliced green onions (for garnish)


Instructions

Step 1: Preheat Oven or Air Fryer

  • Oven Method: Preheat to 375°F (190°C).

  • Air Fryer Method: Preheat to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2: Make the Filling

  • In a bowl, combine softened cream cheesechopped crabgreen onionsgarlic powderWorcestershire saucesalt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and well combined.

Step 3: Prepare the Dough

  • Separate the biscuit dough into 8 rounds. Flatten each round into a 4-inch disk.

Step 4: Add the Filling

  • Spoon about 1 ½ tablespoons of the crab mixture into the center of each dough round.

Step 5: Seal the Bites

  • Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal tightly.

Step 6: Arrange on Baking Sheet or in Air Fryer

  • Oven Method: Place the sealed bites seam-side down on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Air Fryer Method: Arrange in the air fryer basket.

Step 7: Egg Wash

  • Brush each bite with beaten egg to achieve a golden, glossy finish.

Step 8: Bake or Air Fry

  • Oven: Bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.

  • Air Fryer: Air fry for 10–12 minutes, until golden and crispy.
