Description

This easy Churro Saltine Toffee is a quick, addictive dessert made with buttery toffee, melted chocolate, cinnamon sugar, and flaky salt layered over crunchy crackers. Perfect for parties, gifting, or snacking.


Ingredients

1 sleeve Saltine crackers (enough to line a baking sheet)

1 cup unsalted butter

1 cup brown sugar

1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 tsp ground cinnamon

3 tbsp granulated sugar

Flaky sea salt, to finish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment and grease lightly.

  2. Lay crackers in a single layer on the pan.

  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring for 3 minutes.

  4. Pour toffee over crackers and spread evenly.

  5. Bake for 5–7 minutes until bubbling.

  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let melt, then spread evenly.

  7. Mix cinnamon and sugar, then sprinkle over melted chocolate.

  8. Add a light sprinkle of sea salt. Cool completely.

  9. Break into pieces and serve.
