Description

Ingredients

Lasagna:

  • 9 lasagna noodles

Chicken and Cheese Mixture:

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Sauce and Seasoning:

  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce (homemade or jarred)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the lasagna.
  2. Cook Noodles: Boil the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare Ricotta Mixture: In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, salt, and pepper; mix well to create a creamy filling.
  4. Layer Ingredients: Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Start layering with noodles, spread some of the ricotta mixture, add shredded chicken, spoon Alfredo sauce on top, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  5. Repeat and Top: Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a top layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese for a golden crust.
  6. Bake: Place the assembled dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30–35 minutes until the lasagna is bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Rest Before Serving: Remove from oven and let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes to set before slicing and serving.
