Description

These Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are the ultimate comfort food, with juicy chicken, melted cheese, and bold garlic all wrapped up in a crispy tortilla. Quick and easy to make, they’re perfect for dinner, lunch, or as a snack. Customizable with different cheeses and spices, these wraps are sure to become a favorite.

Ingredients

2 cups cooked, diced chicken breast

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp olive oil

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 medium flour tortillas

1 tbsp butter

1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken: If chicken is uncooked, season it with salt and pepper and cook until fully done. Dice into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Prepare the Garlic Chicken Mixture: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for 30-60 seconds. Add diced chicken, tossing until evenly coated with garlic.

  3. Melt the Cheeses: Remove the pan from heat and stir in the mozzarella and cheddar cheese. The heat from the chicken will melt the cheese.

  4. Assemble the Wraps: Lay tortillas flat and spoon the cheesy chicken mixture in the center. Fold in the sides and roll up tightly like a burrito.

  5. Cook the Wraps: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.

  6. Serve: Let the wraps rest for 1-2 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add jalapeños or crushed red pepper with the chicken.
  • You can swap out the cheeses with provolone, gouda, or pepper jack for different flavors.
  • Add vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers for added nutrition.
