Description
This creamy and comforting Tater Tot Casserole is a classic family-friendly dinner made with ground beef, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and crispy tater tots. An easy weeknight meal everyone loves.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
Optional: chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until browned. Drain excess grease.

In a bowl, mix beef mixture with soup, sour cream, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, and half the cheese.

Spread mixture into the baking dish.

Arrange frozen tater tots on top in a single layer.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, until tater tots are golden and crispy.

Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake 5 more minutes.

Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
- No need to thaw tater tots before baking.
