Ingredients
Biscuits
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
Filling
- 1 cup cooked roast beef, chopped or shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Butter Mixture
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley
Optional
- Horseradish sauce or au jus for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Prepare biscuit dough: Separate the refrigerated biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit into a 4 to 5 inch circle to create a base for stuffing.
- Mix filling: In a bowl, combine the chopped or shredded roast beef with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses thoroughly.
- Fill biscuits: Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons of the beef and cheese filling into the center of each flattened biscuit dough circle.
- Seal biscuits: Fold the dough around the filling and pinch the seams tightly to seal the stuffed biscuit completely.
- Arrange on sheet: Place the sealed biscuits seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they have some space between them.
- Brush with butter mixture: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of each biscuit for extra flavor and golden browning.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve: Remove from oven and serve warm. Optionally, provide horseradish sauce or au jus for dipping to enhance flavor.
