Description

Experience all the delicious flavors of a classic cheeseburger without the bun in this easy and hearty cheeseburger bowl. Featuring juicy seasoned ground beef, fresh crisp lettuce, cherry tomatoes, tangy pickles, shredded cheddar, and a special ketchup-mayo sauce, this dish makes for a perfect low-carb, high-protein lunch or dinner option.

Ingredients

Meat and Seasonings

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Vegetables and Toppings

  • 4 cups chopped lettuce
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ¼ cup pickles, sliced
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Special Sauce

  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Cook the meat: In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef or turkey along with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook, breaking apart with a spatula, until the meat is fully browned and cooked through, about 8–10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Prepare the bowls: Divide the chopped lettuce evenly among 2 to 3 serving bowls. Top with halved cherry tomatoes, sliced pickles, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Add the cooked meat: Spoon the warm seasoned ground meat on top of the vegetable base in each bowl.
  4. Make and drizzle the special sauce: In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup and mayonnaise. Drizzle this sauce over each bowl just before serving to add creamy, tangy flavor.

Notes

  • For extra creaminess and healthy fats, add sliced avocado to your bowl.
  • Sprinkle crispy bacon bits if you want to enhance the savory flavor.
  • This meal is ideal for low-carb and keto meal preparation—easy to store and reheat.
