Instructions
- Prepare the Bread: Spread olive oil or pesto evenly on one side of each slice of the crusty bread to add flavor and moisture.
- Layer the Ingredients: Place fresh mozzarella slices evenly over one slice of the bread, followed by tomato slices and fresh basil leaves to build the classic Caprese flavors.
- Season: Lightly sprinkle salt and freshly ground black pepper over the layered ingredients to enhance the taste.
- Add Balsamic Glaze: Drizzle balsamic glaze over the stack if desired for a sweet and tangy finish.
