Description

This Buffalo Ranch Chicken Pull-Apart Bread is a crowd-pleasing appetizer featuring a crusty loaf filled with shredded buffalo chicken, creamy ranch dressing, and melted mozzarella cheese. It’s perfect for parties, game day, or any casual get-together, offering a spicy, cheesy, and savory treat that’s easy to share and enjoy.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf bread (unsliced or partially sliced)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 tbsp parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) to prepare for baking the pull-apart bread.
  2. Slice the Bread: Slice the loaf in a crisscross pattern carefully without cutting all the way through to create pockets for the filling.
  3. Prepare Chicken Mixture: In a bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken with buffalo sauce and ranch dressing until evenly coated.
  4. Stuff the Bread: Gently stuff the buffalo chicken mixture and shredded mozzarella cheese into the cuts made in the bread, filling all the crevices.
  5. Brush with Butter: Brush the outside of the bread with melted butter to help achieve a golden, crispy crust.
  6. Wrap and Bake: Wrap the stuffed bread tightly in foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes to heat through and melt the cheese inside.
  7. Uncover and Bake Again: Remove the foil and bake an additional 10 minutes uncovered, allowing the cheese to melt completely and the crust to become crisp and golden.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Optionally, sprinkle chopped parsley over the top for color and freshness. Serve immediately while warm and gooey.

Notes

  • Choose mild or hot buffalo sauce based on your spice preference for tailored heat levels.
  • Serve the pull-apart bread immediately after baking to enjoy the melted cheese and optimal texture.
  • You can add extra shredded cheese or chopped green onions inside for additional flavor and texture.
  • Leftovers can be reheated wrapped in foil in the oven to retain moisture.
