Ingredients
Tea
- 1 hibiscus tea bag or 1 tbsp dried hibiscus petals
- 1 cup hot water
Fruit & Flavorings
- 2 tbsp mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
Sweetener
- Sweetener to taste (such as honey, sugar, or sugar-free syrup)
Instructions
- Steep the Hibiscus Tea: Place the hibiscus tea bag or dried hibiscus petals into 1 cup of hot water. Let it steep for 5 to 7 minutes to extract the vibrant color and tart flavor.
- Add Berries: Add 2 tablespoons of mixed berries to the steeped tea. Lightly mash the berries to release their juices and infuse berry flavor into the tea.
- Add Lemon Juice and Sweetener: Stir in 1 teaspoon of lemon juice if using, then add sweetener to taste. Adjust according to your preference for sweetness.
- Serve: Enjoy the tea hot right away, or allow it to cool and chill it in the refrigerator for a refreshing iced berry hibiscus tea.
