- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Spices
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat the oil: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Cook the beef: Add the thinly sliced beef to the hot pan and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until browned but still tender. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

- Combine beef and sauce: Return the browned beef to the pan. Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper. Toss everything together thoroughly.
- Finish cooking: Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the ingredients are well coated with the sauce and heated through.
- Serve: Remove from heat and serve the stir-fry hot over steamed rice for a complete meal.
Notes
- For softer green beans, blanch them in boiling water for 2 minutes before stir-frying.
- Add red chili flakes to the sauce for a spicy kick.
- Substitute green beans with broccoli florets or snap peas for different textures and flavors.
